Directions & Parking

SPECTATORS

Free parking for spectators is available in the Downtown Airpark. From SW 25th and Western, go north to Downtown Airpark. Please note: the Western Bridge over the Oklahoma River is closed; please approach from the south.

 

TEAMS

The OCU Boot of the Oklahoma will be held at the Exchange Boathouse, 1391 Exchange Ave, on the Western Basin of the Oklahoma River, located one-half mile south of Interstate 40 at Western Avenue. Free parking will be provided adjacent to the race venue, with overflow parking at the Downtown Airpark. Attendants will be on site to assist with parking.

I–40 from the West:

  • Take Western Ave. exit
  • Stay right and go straight onto Klein Ave.
  • At SW 3rd Street make a diagonal right onto Exchange Ave.
  • Follow it over the bridge. Take the first right into the boathouse parking lot.

 I–40 from the East:

  • Exit 149A Western Ave. Go slow 20 mph as it turns to the right sharply.
  • Stay in the right lane and turn right onto Western Ave.
  • Under the Highway, stay in the right hand lane and at the Reno Ave intersection; make a diagonal right onto Exchange Ave.
  • Follow it over the bridge, and take the first right into the boathouse parking lot.

TRAILER PARKING 
Please check-in with the parking attendant at the boathouse entrance for trailer parking instructions. Trailer parking will occur in designated areas in the Exchange Boathouse parking lot and grass areas. You may contact the Chesapeake Boathouse at (405) 552–4040 if you need assistance with directions upon arrival in Oklahoma City.

BUS PARKING
Free bus and overflow trailer parking will be located on the southeast side of the Exchange Ave bridge.  Parking in these designated areas is limited to a first-come, first–served basis.

BOAT STAGING 
Please keep all boats and oars in the designated staging areas and clear of marked pathways and docks.  Most staging will occur in the Exchange Boathouse parking lot and surrounding grass areas.  Boat staging locations will be pre-assigned with assignments based upon the order that regatta entries are received and the space requirements for each participating team. 

CLUB TENTS  
Clubs and universities are permitted to erect tents in designated areas along the racecourse.  Please see registration officials for information on the permitted tent locations.
