The revitalization of the Oklahoma River is transforming what was once a dry, dusty riverbed into a world-class training and racing venue in the heart of Oklahoma City. Current development of the venue includes the addition of three new boathouses, a finish line tower and shoreline improvements. Plans for the future include permanent grandstands, lighting, race course improvements, wind screens and construction of a whitewater rapids facility for competitive and recreational kayaking.
