8:30 am Head Races
Oklahoma City University’s Boot of the Oklahoma offers a challenging 4000m head race course. Competitors will race in a clockwise pattern with the starting line at the west end of the river basin. The head races will include events for collegiate, master and junior rowers in singles, doubles, pairs, fours, quads and eights. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event. Select head race events are qualifiers for the 500m OG+E Stampede sprints.
4-6 pm OG+E Stampede
OG+E Stampede 500m sprints take place after head racing concludes for the day on Saturday, 4-6 pm. Medals will be awarded to the top finisher in each event.
